Jesus spoke frequently about the Kingdom of God, emphasizing its simplicity and profound impact. He invited people not just to pray a prayer, but to enter a whole new way of living. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus told us to "seek first the kingdom," pointing to a priority far beyond individual salvation—it’s about transforming every aspect of life to align with God's will.

Often, we focus so much on getting someone to say the right prayer that we miss the bigger picture: the Kingdom of God is not just a destination after death, it’s a present reality we live in now, marked by justice, peace, and love. Jesus came to restore this Kingdom here on earth, inviting us to be ambassadors of His reign.

Let’s remember that the goal is not just conversion but a life fully surrendered to God's Kingdom, impacting the world around us in every sphere. That’s the simplicity and beauty of the Kingdom!

đŸ’„ FAMILY. CHURCH. BUSINESS. đŸ’„

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how these three areas—family, church, and business—tie together in God's bigger plan. When you look at the Bible, it's clear that family is where it all starts. It’s the foundation. God didn’t just create families to exist; He created them to pass down faith, values, and Kingdom impact from one generation to the next. That’s why family is where discipleship begins. It’s where we raise our kids to know God, to walk in their calling, and to carry that forward into the world. 🙌

But then, we’ve got the church—not just a place to go on Sundays but the ekklesia, the gathering of believers who have the authority to influence the world. The church is where we get equipped, encouraged, and sent out to live out God’s mission. It’s where we come together as a spiritual family to support each other, disciple one another, and make sure we’re carrying out the Great Commission in everything we do. 🌍đŸ’Ș

And then there’s business. Some people separate work from their faith, but God doesn’t see it that way. Business is a platform for ministry! It’s not just a way to provide for our families (though that’s important), but it’s also how we influence our communities and impact culture. We’re called to steward our resources, operate with integrity, and make sure our businesses reflect the Kingdom just like our homes and churches do. 📈✹

Here’s the thing: God’s plan is multi-generational. He works through families, churches, and businesses together to build His Kingdom. Each one plays a part. The family raises the next generation of Kingdom-minded leaders, the church equips us for the mission, and business gives us the platform to live out our faith in the world.

It’s not about separating these things—it’s about integrating them. đŸ’„ Let’s build families that carry the Kingdom. Let’s be a church that sends people out with purpose. And let’s run businesses that show the world what God’s rule really looks like. 👑

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind" (Luke 10:27). As believers, we’re called to love God with everything we’ve got—and that doesn’t stop when we leave church on Sunday.

I know we Christians sometimes get a bad rap, especially when it comes to tipping after church. It shouldn’t be that way! Our love for the Lord should spill over into how we treat others, whether it’s at the restaurant, the store, or out on the street. We should be known for our generosity, kindness, and respect.

So, let’s not just talk the talk on Sunday mornings—let’s live it out with how we treat people everywhere. Let’s show them Jesus, even when we’re just grabbing lunch. 💙

In the middle of this football Saturday, as I juggle the chaos of raising three teenage daughters, I’m reminded that life isn’t divided into “sacred” and “secular.” Whether it’s cheering for a game, navigating parenting challenges, or managing work—it all matters to God. Every moment, even the messy ones, is an opportunity to worship Him. The Holy Spirit is my guide in all of it—helping me stay grounded, make wise choices, and lead my girls well. Let’s lean on the Spirit’s leading in every part of life because it all counts.

Your Work? That’s Your Ministry
"Doesn’t matter if you’re running a ranch, a business, or your household—your work has meaning. God placed you there for a reason. The marketplace isn’t just about making money; it’s a place to live out our faith. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, ‘So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.’ That means every bit of your workday can be an offering.

Faith’s Not a Part-Time Job—It’s a Full-Time Calling - Sometimes it’s easy to think of faith as something that fits into our schedule. But the truth is, faith needs to be at the core of everything we do, not just an add-on. Proverbs 16:3 says, ‘Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.’ So let’s make sure we’re bringing our faith to the whole week, not just the church pew.

Faith Ain’t Just for Sundays - God didn’t create us to keep our faith tucked away just for church. Whether you’re hustling in the office or sitting around the dinner table, every part of your life can be used for His purpose. Colossians 3:23 says it plain: ‘Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as if you’re workin’ for the Lord, not for man.’ So let’s take our faith to work this week!

Family, Restoration, and Jesus: Our Jubilee

There’s something about the land and family that runs deep. In the Bible, the Year of Jubilee (Leviticus 25:10) was a time when debts were forgiven, and families returned to their land. But here’s the good news—through Jesus, we don’t have to wait 50 years for restoration. When Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me... to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor” (Luke 4:18-19), He was declaring that we have access to the freedom and restoration of Jubilee right now.

No matter how far we’ve wandered, Deuteronomy 30:3 reminds us, "The Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you." Because of Jesus, we can experience this restoration every day. Psalm 16:6 says, "The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance." That inheritance isn’t just land—it’s eternal life and peace with God.

So, wherever you are today, remember: Jesus is our Jubilee. He restores what’s broken and offers us freedom. Let’s walk in that!

Being a good friend isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about asking the right questions and really listening. The Good Lord gave us one mouth and two ears for a reason! Whether it’s over coffee or sitting on the porch, the best conversations happen when we slow down and ask, “What’s really on your heart?” or “Where’s the Holy Spirit leading you?”

Listening creates space for God to speak, and most of the time that’s all someone needs. Let’s be the kind of friends who ask, listen, and let the Spirit guide.

We All Need People in Our Corner

Growing up in the country, I learned early on that we don’t get through life by ourselves. Whether it was fixing a neighbor’s fence or sitting around the table talking through life’s challenges, folks showed up for each other. And I believe the Holy Spirit calls us to live the same way—supporting each other, walking alongside one another, and being there when life gets tough.

We all face struggles—whether it’s battles in marriage, addiction, or just feeling overwhelmed by the weight of it all. It’s easy to think we have to carry that burden alone, but the truth is, we don’t. The Holy Spirit gives us the strength to be vulnerable and accountable, and it’s through those trusted relationships that we find real healing. I’ve learned that opening up to the right people, those who will speak truth and love into our lives, can be life-changing.

I was raised to lean on others, and I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be when we let the Holy Spirit guide us in those connections. If you’re in a tough season, don’t stay silent. The Spirit works through the people around us, reminding us we’re not alone. Lean in, let your community support you, and trust that God is at work, even in the hard times.

We’re stronger together, and with the Holy Spirit’s help, we can lift each other up and walk through anything.
