Scary situation for the homeowner and for the teenagers pulling the prank. I represented a client on a similar scenario in Dallas County 2 years ago. I have to wonder why Frisco Police Department arrested this man. According to the news, the teenagers lied about their location and the homeowner is the one who called 9-1-1 regarding an attempted home break-in. These facts suggest a grand jury referral would have been a better resolution instead of arresting the homeowner and forcing him to post multiple bail bonds.
A Frisco man faces three felony charges after allegedly firing a gun at a group of teenagers who rang his doorbell and ran as part of a prank, police said Monday.
