Alyse joins us as our Front Office Receptionist & Legal Assistant and is currently pursuing her second degree in Legal Studies at Clayton State University. She has a passion for justice, advocacy, and public service, with aspirations of becoming a civil rights and government attorney—and, one day, serving in Congress!

Outside of the office and classroom, Alyse is a member of the NAACP Henry County Branch and the Georgia Association of Paralegals. Through her education, professional journey, and community involvement, she is committed to using the law to advocate for others and create meaningful change.

🚨 DRUNK DRIVING CHANGES EVERYTHING.

A DUI crash isn't simply an “accident.”

When someone chooses to drive impaired, that decision can leave an innocent person dealing with serious injuries, medical bills, lost income, and consequences that may last long after the driver sobers up.

And under Georgia law, a personal injury claim involving an impaired driver may involve more than compensation for the injuries and losses caused by the collision.

⚖️ Punitive damages may also be available.

Unlike compensatory damages, punitive damages are intended to punish and deter particularly wrongful conduct. Georgia law specifically addresses torts involving a defendant whose judgment was substantially impaired by alcohol or certain drugs, and the usual statutory cap on punitive damages does not apply to the active tortfeasor in those circumstances.

Drunk driving is preventable. The harm it causes often isn't.
