Kemp Law Group is pleased to welcome Attorney Cory Hamby to the firm.

Cory is a Paducah, Kentucky native who brings a strong background in public service and the law. He earned his undergraduate degree from Murray State University and Indiana Tech University before graduating from the Southern Illinois University School of Law in May 2025. Cory was admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky after successfully passing the July 2025 Kentucky Bar Exam.

Before entering private practice, Cory dedicated more than 15 years to serving the Commonwealth as a member of the Kentucky State Police, providing him with extensive firsthand experience in law enforcement and the justice system.

Cory resides in Paducah with his wife, Mariah Hamby, and their three young children. He looks forward to working with Kemp Law Group to continue serving West Kentucky.

In our recent virtual auction, this amazing item was overlooked and did not receive bids. We'd like to give another opportunity for our community to take advantage of this amazing deal!

All proceeds go to Homes for Hope for Mayfield and Graves County. The Homes for Hope project includes repair and clean up for damaged homes. The ultimate mission is to rebuild homes and give families new hope in our community. We've raised $832. Help us reach our $1000 goal!

The historically devasting tornado that struck our community has impacted all of us; some far more than others. KLG’s staff, their families, and their homes are all safe. KLG’s office, unfortunately, sustained too much roof damage to be habitable. Rest assured that all important documents that were in the office were removed and are currently in a safe location.

There will be no court business conducted while Judge Bishop, Judge Crooks, and many others work towards obtaining a temporary location for court to be held. KLG is also seeking a temporary location from which we can work.

Mayfield is a strong community with character, integrity, and diligence. It will take time, but we will pull through this tragedy together!
