It is with mixed emotions that we announce that Matt Haralson will be leaving Kizer & Black at the end of March. Matt has been with us for more than 24 years and has been an excellent partner, attorney, and friend. Matt has accepted a position with Prisma Health as Associate General Counsel. After serving on the board at Blount Memorial Hospital throughout the transition with Prisma Health, this is an exciting opportunity for him. While we are sad to see him leave K&B, we are proud of him and wish him all the best in this new chapter. Matt will be working locally so he will still have a large presence within our community.

Kizer & Black was honored to receive the Legal Aid of East Tennessee’s Law Firm of the Year Award. Attorneys Andy Sneed and Melanie Davis accepted the award on the firm’s behalf. This award was in recognition of the firm’s dedication to pro bono service and continued support of Legal Aid’s mission. We are grateful for the acknowledgment and look forward to a continued relationship with Legal Aid of East Tennessee for many years to come.
