Even housing providers are starting to question the logic of certain "tenant" protections

A big affordable housing developer wants to roll back tenant protections, and the council won't say if it's sympathetic.

Despite providing Right To Counsel attorneys, tenant behavior hasn't changed, which has kept unlawful detainer filings higher than expected. More funds for RTC attorneys isn't going to change the pace of eviction.

About $3 million in new funding will help hire more tenant attorneys to handle cases across Washington, particularly in the areas with the highest eviction numbers.

Even today's celebrities with all the wealth and fame, still come to the mediation table in a family law proceeding, because in the end, its in the best interests of the parents to start co-parenting immediately. 90% of family cases end at mediation.
