Things to do this week!
10/22 & 10/23, 4:30Pm – 8PM, Sandwich Halloween Fest, Heritage Museums and Gardens – Heritage Museums & Gardens is teaming up with Sandwich Public Schools to put on a (not-too) spooktacular family festival! Come boogie at the DJ Ooch dance party; do the Sandwich Soul Cake Walk, play themed games, and enjoy festive lighting and décor all over the grounds, and discover a few new surprises! This event also serves as an important fundraiser for both Heritage Museums & Gardens and the STEM Academy/Sandwich High School Parent Teacher Student Association and the Sandwich High School Senior and Junior Classes. $5 per person; 2 and under Free; $25 family maximum.
10/23, 12PM – 5PM, Bands for Badges, Cape Cod Fairgrounds, Falmouth – Some of your favorite local bands get together for an all-day music festival to support our local First Responders. All ticket proceeds go directly to a fund set up at CC5 to help our heroes in need. This is a family event – so in addition to the live music there will be food, face painting, a bouncy house and more. Tickets are $35 adults, $10 for youth, and 12 and under admitted for free. This event is postponed from August – if you have tickets for that event, they’ll be honored for the new date.
10/23 & 10/24, Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra Presents Spooky Ghost Hunters – Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra (CCCO), the Cape’s professional collaborative orchestra, presents its spooky fall concert Ghost Hunters, on Saturday, October 23, 7 pm, at St. Christopher’s Church 625 Main St., Chatham, and on Sunday, October 24, 3 pm, at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 533 Rt. 28, Harwich Port.
