Marshall resident Aaron Bean will be our Memorial Day Speaker on Monday, 25 May at 11 o'clock on the Searcy County Courthouse Square in downtown Marshall! Bean served on Active Duty in the U.S. Coast Guard from 2002-2006. He graduated from Summit High School in
Breckenridge, Colorado. He has a Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. Aaron is an IronMan athlete and a ten times marathon runner. I’m excited to support **Roni Combs**, a powerhouse in our community who wears many hats—owner of Counseling & Family Therapy Center, Psych Bike in downtown Harrison, and a Level 3 NICA Coach with our local **Buffalo Riders** mountain bike team. 🚵

Right now, the team is *all boys*—and we’d love to help Roni **change that**!

👉 **Girls in 5th–12th grade (including homeschoolers)** are invited to join the team. No experience needed—just a spirit of adventure and a willingness to try something new!

These girls will ride through **GRiT (Girls Riding Together)**—a nationwide program that builds confidence, friendships, and bike skills in a supportive all-girls environment.

📍 Covering Boone, Newton, Searcy & parts of Marion Counties
📅 Season starts **August 24**, but practices are already rolling
🕕 Practice Times: **Mon/Wed/Fri 6–8 PM** (flexible attendance)
💫 Focused on confidence, fun, and community—on and off the trail
