I’ve been working with Lexis/Nexis for the past two years to produce an entirely new criminal law manual for Michigan judges and lawyers.

I’m excited to announce we just released the first edition of Michigan Criminal Law and Procedure, a two-volume comprehensive desk reference written by some extraordinary attorneys recognized as the top experts in their area of practice.

What’s even better than a jury “Not Guilty” verdict? How about a judge’s directed verdict of acquittal!! And it was a pleasure to work with the brilliant Dr. Dan Spitz on this case. His father was the late great Dr. Werner Spitz who wrote the seminal treatise, “Medicolegal Investigation of Death”, in which Dan wrote the first chapter.
