Dear Clients,
As of April 27, 2026, USCIS started resubmitting fingerprints to a new vetting database. Because of this new requirement, all applicants who were fingerprinted prior to April 27, 2026 will experience delays because their fingerprints/biometric data must be resubmitted to the new database. This applies to applications pending in the US.
When it comes to consular processing, we had 4 immigrant visas approved yesterday in Mumbai, India so immigrant visa applicants abroad are not impacted by the April 27, 2027 new fingerprint resubmission requirement. However, there is still a ban/hold on certain countries so if you are from one of the countries on the ban list, your case will be delayed.
Thank you for your patience and understanding!
