Great advice ! “slow decorating”
Rather than buying everything at once and filling your home with the current trends, slow decorating is about taking the time to enjoy the process, creating a home that reflects your interests and tells your story, and realizing that the most interesting and authentic spaces continue to evolve over time.
I give my clients, especially first-time home buyers, similar advice. To live in their new home for a time and see how their life flows in the space before making big changes. It’s a process we should learn to enjoy!
