The Court of Appeals issued two favorable opinions for two of our clients this month.

One major issue domestic litigants face is the imposition of attorney's fees through the abusive litigation statute. It is often misused by trial courts as a "catch all" to award attorney's fees. If you have been assessed abusive litigation attorney's fees, give our office a call to discuss a possible appeal.

We are pleased to announce a favorable ruling by the Georgia Court of Appeals for our client. The trial court held a family violence hearing beyond the statutory deadline over objection of our client. The trial court was reversed today.

In addition to our appellate practice, we are trial lawyers helping clients through divorce, child custody, adoptions, and contempt actions.

We are pleased to announce that we were successful in assisting a Mother in gaining custody of her daughters over the Guardian ad Litem's recommendation for the Father. It took two years, but the Court listened to the testimony and evidence carefully. We could not have asked for a better outcome.

Our office building has three individual offices for rent. The larger office contains room for an assistant or paralegal and is $450.00 per month. The smaller offices rent for $350.00 per month. The offices come fully furnished and include utilities. The office park is located off Whitlock Avenue, which is convenient to the Marietta Square and the highways.
