Congratulations to Kid Chess' own GM Alonso Zapata! Alonso won the 65+ championship at the 57th Capablanca Chess Memorial tournament in Havana, Cuba. With this win, he earned an invitation to the 2024 FIDE Senior World Chess Championship. If you see GM Alonso at camp, tell him congratulations and good luck!
