Today has been a hard day for many. Democrat or Republican, man or woman, regardless of race, regardless of socioeconomic status and every other aspect that both divides and unites us, someone we supported, someone we believed in was either elected or lost their race.

As heartbreaking as it may seem, remember that we are a country that should be united and not divided. Repair relationships that can be repaired. Reach out to find common ground. Remember that our process, the democratic process - the process that separates us Communism, for a dictatorship - it worked.

Take a breath. Take a mental health day or two or five, but come back and look at where you can get involved. Get involved. Support those who were elected. Reach out to them. But under no circumstances should you allow anyone to make you feel you should leave the best country in the world. And in my opinion, the best county in Georgia.

Stay faithful
Trust the process
