This past weekend, I was deeply honored to be recognized by my alma mater, Georgia Southern University, as part of the 2025 Class of 40 Under 40 Alumni.

Thank you to Georgia Southern for hosting such an incredible celebration. It was a joy to be back on campus with my family, to connect with fellow honorees, and to feel the energy of being True Blue again.

I’m grateful for this recognition of the work we are doing at The Waltman Firm, and I’ll continue to Soar High in serving our clients and community. GATA! 💙🦅🤍

We went to a challenging jurisdiction and worked our magic this week. Thankful for my co-counsel, the jury and most important, my client for trusting us with his life. Justice was done, now for him to begin putting his life back together. While he won’t spend the rest of his life in prison, the damage to his career life and reputation will take years to try and repair.

A decade ago this week 11-1-2012, I was sworn into this meaningful profession. I took an oath to uphold and defend The Constitution of The United States of America. If you look to the side of the photo you’ll see a pair of shinny crutches I was rockin’ after suffering a major femur fracture 3 weeks before the bar exam.
