Scam alert, Maricopa — texts claiming you have an “unpaid ticket” are circulating.

Here’s how to spot the red flags:
Wrong or fake seal
Spelling and grammar errors
Mentions of toll roads (Arizona has none)
Conflicting info (says it’s already in default and will go into default)

What to do:
• Don’t click links
• Don’t share info or pay
• Delete the message
• Verify through official sources only

When in doubt, go straight to the source — not the link.

This is true multi-tasking. Fundraising event this weekend and yours truly is participating in the Dancing with the Stars for the Boys & Girls Club. Also, ordering swag and other goodies for the Western Pinal County Business and Crafts Expo for April 11th, working on cases and getting documents prepared, so thank you to Honeycutt Coffee or keeping my caffeine strong!
