If you live in Burnet County or any county contiguous to Burnet County, I offer mediations for 4 hours for $800 total (or shared equally by the people - $400 each). I do a lot of mediations in the Texas Hill Country via Zoom.

If your funds are limited, I occasionally offer mediation at a discount.

If you have a legal question, you can call me at 7130-847-6000 and I will try to answer your question. I am retired and I no longer go to court.

I volunteer each month at the Marble Falls Lawyers in the Library sponsored by the Highland Lakes Bar Association. I also serve on the HLBA board.

The Highland Lakes Service League's (HLSL) deadline for COMMUNITY GRANT APPLICATIONS is August 31, 2023.

Application Process:
1) Log on to "hlsl.org"
2) Click on "community grants and giving."
3) Scroll down to "The 2023 Community Grant application can be found here."
4) Complete the application and submit it.
5) Send required material/documentation via email to "[email protected]"

Contact the Community Grants Committee at "[email protected]" with any questions.

The application deadline is August 31, 2023

A reminder that funds should be for projects impacting the following areas:

1) Animals: Promote the protection and welfare of animals.
2) Arts and Culture: Cultivate, improve, increase access to creative experiences, and encourage artistic expression.
3) Education: The ability to educate and improve education for individuals within the area.
4) Human Services/Basic Needs: Provide individuals in the community with safe housing, nourishing food, loving and qualified caregivers, and the opportunity to reach their highest level of sustainability and success.
5) Recreation and Public Spaces: Promote activities that foster community; provide individuals with experiences in nature and recreation.
