A Consumer Alert warning has been issued to New Hampshire residents about scammers sending a fraudulent email purporting to be from the New Hampshire Department of Labor and the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire. The scam appears to be targeting New Hampshire businesses. Be vigilant. More info is available from the NH Department of Justice news release below.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s eviction moratorium ended on August 26, 2021 and the Court has resumed normal processing of eviction cases. If you are a landlord or a tenant who wishes to avoid eviction proceedings due to non-payment of rent or other charges, federal funds may still be available through the New Hampshire Emergency Rental Assistance Program. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s nationwide eviction moratorium ended on July 31, 2021. However, on August 3, 2021, the CDC issued a more targeted moratorium that applies only to counties experiencing substantial or high rates of COVD-19 transmission.
