As we move from Thanksgiving into the rest of the holiday season, we’re mindful that this time of year is not easy for everyone.
Many Massachusetts employees face layoffs, reorganizations, or year-end decisions about severance and unemployment benefits.
If you’ve been given a severance agreement, take the time to have it reviewed before signing.
If you’re preparing a DUA unemployment claim or appeal, remember that a denial can be challenged and often should be. No one is obligated to navigate these issues alone or under pressure.
For employees dealing with workplace discrimination or retaliation, year-end is also when many decide whether to file with MCAD. We assist with evaluating whether an MCAD filing is appropriate, understanding deadlines, and determining the best course of action before any complaint is submitted.
We’re here to help employees understand their rights, negotiate severance when possible, address DUA matters, and review potential MCAD issues with clear, practical guidance.
We’re grateful to the clients who trusted us this year, and we wish everyone a steady, healthy start to 2026.
