There are many new and revised tax forms for 2018. FORM 1040 is one of them. Form 1040EZ and 1040A are gone. All taxpayer must use FORM 1040. Also Schedule A Itemized Deductions have been revised completely.

Under the Tax Cut and Job ACT, In 2018 taxpayers will not be able to deduct misc. itemized deductions that were subject to 2% of Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) which includes unreimbursed emplyee expenses. My Tax Strategy: Have your employer reimburse you for out of pocket expenses. These are deductible for your employer and reimbursed to you tax free.
