🏠 Recently, I have been having quite a few conversations with sellers and potential sellers about priority to-do lists when prepping a home for the market, so I thought I would share some great basic tips.

It is always a good idea if you are considering selling, whether in a month or two years, to view your home as if you were the potential buyer.

🍃Exterior - first impressions are everything, and you only get one!

🧹Declutter & sort - potentional buyers want to be able to envision themselves living in the home and enjoying the spaces. Not being put off by your unique, personal items

🎨Interior - neutral palettes are always recommended and appeal to the most number of buyers. Sprucing up basics like hardware and lighting also go a long way in updating the home.

🌟 Of course, having a personalized marketing strategy for your to-do list is best and will make your house shine in the best possible way!

We made it to the last month of 2024, and 2025 is in a matter of weeks! Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday season of good times and good health! To soak up the holiday festivities, check out what Edmonds has to offer:

⁉️Did you know small business Saturday was not a thing until after 2010, and all states started recognizing it in 2012??

⁉️ As of November 2024, there are 33.2 million small businesses in the U.S, accounting for 99% of all businesses.

This is a question that always comes up. People want to know their homes value for a number of reasons: curiosity, possible to sell and buy a new home, estate planning, updating home owners insurance, and for tax purposes. 🤔

Whatever the reason may be, it is so easy to go online 💻 and look up an automated valuation model. However, it is important to keep in mind that these AVMs are computer generated and not conducted by an actual human expert.👩‍💻👨‍💼

When needing the value of your home, it is paramount to connect with a local expert. Never underestimate the power of the human algorithm.
