I started to practice estate planning, probate administration, elder law, and tenant / landlord disputes because I like to help good people and problem solve.I spent 20 years helping people by working in law enforcement solving social and personal issues. I continued on by becoming an attorney which allows me to help good, working class people solve problems requiring an attorney's expertise. Peopl
e who have spent a lifetime working to provide for their family do not need to have it all taken away because of failure to plan. My focus is on providing estate planning through wills, trusts, durable power of attorney, and health care proxies. I have worked with families needing supplemental needs trusts for a disabled child along with a comprehensive estate plan. I continue to provide these services to disabled veteran and others who may not be able to get an estate plan done. Family is the most important thing in my life and primary focus. I place my family's needs first and carry that philosophy over to my work. We all need to have an estate plan in place to prepare for life's circumstances. Estate planning allows the client to put their family first by being able to choose how assets are passed on, making it possible to avoid probate, and lower taxes. Advanced planning can make government benefits available to those in need of long-term care. I practice estate planning for these reasons.
