There’s an ADORABLE new store in downtown Appomattox called Moore Than Expected. Cheryl Moore is the owner, and she has made it her mission to provide a place for local artisans to showcase and sell their work and products. There are SO MANY talented people in our community!!

I’m going to return weekly to showcase each vendor! This week is The Enchanted Bakery. She specializes in sourdough and all kinds of goodies! Even custom orders! I purchased some chocolate chip sourdough cookies. YUM!! She’s stocked here at the store and also has the sweetest farm stand in Lynchburg.

It’s HOT outside and we just moved into a new home. Turned on the air for the first time this season, and the HVAC failed. House got up to 85 degrees! Luckily I had a referral to an amazing and LOCAL HVAC company. Brandon, with First Response Heating https://www.facebook.com/share/1EECiRNfFb/?mibextid=wwXIfr and Air in Appomattox came over, diagnosed in a heat only reserved for absolute HELL, and fixed our system. He’s awesome! He won’t jerk your chain and he knows what he’s doing. Sleeping comfortably tonight.

Great day helping clean gravestones at the Old City Cemetery. We were lucky to have two brilliant historians/docents educating us about the very rich history.
They offer a ton of tours and different community events.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL cemetery, and such a cool experience, indeed.
