The Marlborough Law Firm is proud to sponsor the Long Island Roller Rebels in their 20th season and support their fight for victory over Nassau County's trans-hate legislation (Local Law 121-24).
The home opener is May 17th, 7:00 PM at Safe Skate USA in Old Bethpage. https://longislandrollerrebels.org/event/2025-season-opener-roller-rebels/
Currently, the Roller Rebels are banned from hosting events at Nassau County parks because they refuse to act as gender identity police, certify that the s*x of each of their players conform to their birth certificates at or around the time of their birth, and out and expel their teammates, whose birth certificates do not so conform. When Nassau's hateful anti-trans law is struck down, the Rebels will be able to use Nassau parks again.

The Roller Rebels are one of the first members of the 20-year-old Women's Flat Track Derby Association WFTDA, whose charter permits all women to participate. The WFTDA said that it "does not and will not differentiate between members regardless of presentation and identity, and does not and will not set minimum standards of femininity or androgyny for its membership, or interfere with the privacy of its members for the purposes of eligibility."
We’re proud to recognize The Marlborough Law Firm as an MVP sponsor of our roller derby team!
Fighting for fairness and standing up for workers' rights, they bring the same tenacity and grit to the courtroom that we bring to the track. Thank you, Christopher Marlborough and team, for your powerful support and commitment to justice!
