Asked to Officiate at a friend's wedding ceremony, US Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter explained that he didn't have authority to perform the ceremony.
"What!" exclaimed his friend. "A Supreme Court justice doesn't have the authority to marry people? How come?"
