Peralta, and I have been practicing criminal law all across the Great State of Texas for over 30 years. I am a former state and federal prosecutor, having served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Assistant Attorney General, Assistant District Attorney and Assistant County Attorney. I have substantial experience in a wide variety of criminal cases - both as a prosecutor and as defense counsel, includi
ng financial and white collar crimes, money laundering, drug offenses, DWI's, property offenses, and violent crimes. I also have significant experience handling juvenile criminal cases. In addition to the dozens of felony jury trials I have handled, I am also an accomplished appellate attorney, having briefed and argued numerous appeals in both state and federal courts of appeals. I am a member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas, and have been admitted to practice in the federal courts of the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in New Orleans. I am also a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Payment Plans - I offer reasonable and flexible fee arrangements and am willing to enter into payment plans if the Client is unable to pay the full retainer up front. I accept all major credit and debit cards. Jail Release/Attorney Bonds - I also offer attorney bonds to my Clients who are charged in Texas state courts. Attorneys in Texas are legally authorized to post bonds for Clients who retain their legal services on the underlying charge. Although a fee is charged for the posting of bonds, it is applied to the overall legal fee - resulting in no additional cost to the Client. If you or someone you know has been charged with a state or federal criminal offense, or you need a competent attorney to handle your criminal appeal, please contact me for a free initial consultation.
