The LISD Coaches Meeting was pretty darn successful! We recruited several brand new members and ensured a few others came back to ATPE. Sherri Culwell won the $25 Cardinal's gift card/swag bag and brand new teacher and member Michael Adame won the $75 Cardinal's gift card/swag bag.

"Our members feel besieged, besmirched and really like they're second-class citizens," ATPE Exec. Gary Godsey said, warning that educators vote in GOP primaries, and they are prepared to "vote their profession."

Senate Business & Commerce Committee advanced inflammatory "union dues" bill SB7 despite overwhelming testimony against it. Vote of 6-3.
