Very proud to share another Appellate win for our clients, who were retaliated against by a builder who didn’t pay his subcontractors and then sued *them* instead of taking responsibility. Many, many thanks to all who helped us in our match challenge to benefit Lubbock Impact! After 10 days and amazing partners with Drug Emporium Lubbock and John’s two Tech Cafe locations, we collected 2,275 and $3,407 in cash for the food pantry!

VPLF Law dropped everything off this morning and was proud to match the donations. Texas: West Texas Lawyers for Our West Texas Neighbors.

Proud to be handling two probates for a family in Swisher County (Tulia) this week. We have another in a couple of weeks in Wilbarger County (Vernon). Both of our clients for those cases were turned away by more than 5 attorneys before finding us. No one else was willing to walk alongside these West Texas neighbors as they navigated the most difficult situation a family can face.

But here at VPLF we do our best to shoulder as much of that burden as possible. As I (Kristen) told our new client this week: we’ve got you. Breathe.

We’re supporting Vander-Plas LaFreniere, PLLC in their efforts to help fill the shelves at Lubbock Impact’s Food Pantry during this critical time. They are willing to donate up to $10,000 to this cause, but need your help to do it!

• Boxed dinners like mac & cheese
• Full-size jars of peanut butter
