There has been extensive publicity about jury verdicts over the past 10 years. Most, if not all, of the publicly is negative. However, these verdicts are a small portion of actual jury verdicts and the facts stated by the media are often incomplete and misleading. The jury system is an important part of our justice system and should not be manipulated by media or other interests. I post this as I begin jury duty for 2 weeks.
