In 1998, Sherri Murgallis graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of St. program at the University of Denver College of Law in 2001, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. She was admitted to the Colorado Bar in the same year. Murgallis has worked in a high-volume private practice with an emphasis in criminal defense, domestic relations, personal injury, estate planning and civil litigation, where she has accumulated extensive trial experience in both criminal and civil matters. A significant amount of her work serves members of the gay and le***an community including and same-sex partnership agreements, and dissolution of partnerships and Civil Unions. Murgallis has served as President of the Colorado Le***an and Gay Bar Association, and as a board member of the Colorado Women's Bar Association. She is presently a member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, the Family Law section of the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and the Arraj Inn of Court.
