Moore Law Group is pleased to announce that Emily A. DeVuono and Ashton Rose Smith were recently named partner.

Emily A. DeVuono, a Louisville native, concentrates her practice in representing people who have been injured as a result of medical negligence; nursing home neglect and abuse; and automobile and truck wrecks. Ms. DeVuono graduated magna cm laude from the University of Louisville in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Humanities. She received her Master of Art in Humanities from the University of Louisville in 2010. Ms. DeVuono graduated magna cm laude from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2015 and has practiced law with Moore Law Group for 10 years.

Ashton Rose Smith, originally from Knott County, Kentucky, has a passion for helping people who have been injured by the wrongful conduct of others. She focuses much of her practice on mass tort litigation involving harmful pesticides and pharmaceutical drugs and defective medical devices. Ms. Smith received her Bachelor of Arts and graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky with a major in Integrated Strategic Communications and a minor in Psychology. She graduated from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law and has been practicing law since 2015, the last seven with Moore Law Group.

Moore Law Group and Wisner Baum are thrilled on behalf of our clients to announce a settlement with GlaxoSmithKline, LLC, the developer of the drug, Zantac, after five hard fought years. We continue to pursue claims against Boehringer Ingelheim for its wrongdoing for exposing millions of people to a known carcinogen for over a decade. Our fight against Boehringer Ingelheim continues today in trial in Oakland, California.

Big win for 72,000 Zantac cases! Moore Law Group and
Wisner Baum defeat defendants' Daubert motions in Delaware Zantac cancer litigation.

GSK Plc, Pfizer Inc. and other drugmakers must face trials in state court in Delaware after a judge found the evidence backing up claims the companies’ former Zantac heartburn treatment causes cancer is legitimate and can be heard by juries.

Moore Law Group attorney, Emily DeVuono, was recently appointed to the leadership committee in a multidistrict litigation targeting the alleged presence of toxins in commercial baby food products. We are proud of Ms. DeVuono's leadership and work on behalf of clients. Our firm is among only 14 law firms in the country appointed to leadership in this litigation.

Moore Law Group reaches settlement with Sanofi for thousands of cancer victims who took Zantac.

Sanofi has reached an agreement in principle to settle 4,000 U.S. lawsuits linking the discontinued heartburn drug Zantac to cancer, the company said on Wednesday.
