I met this man randomly one day and he asked me what I did for a living...I told him I bought houses. I said, “you know, like an investor”. He thought it was cool. He asked me what kind of houses I liked and I told him “3 beds, a bath or 2 brick ranch”. He said, “I have one right now that I’ll sell you, it’s right around the corner”. I said let’s go see it. We went and looked, he apologized and apologized for the condition. (It wasn’t too bad), this generation cares. He told me what he wanted and I told him that it was a fair price...ZERO negotiations.
They had a lot of legal questions and needed a lot of help in this area. I brought in my great attorneys to answer all their questions and they felt great about selling. They were able to sell and do exactly what they needed. I didn’t low ball them and beat them up on price. They have been some of the most genuinely kind people we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.
