It was such a great time celebrating Beth and all she’s contributed over the years. Lisa Gann and Chloe Story had a wonderful time representing Kentuckiana Court Reporters at the Kentucky Justice Association seminar, Ethics & A Day at the Races! ⚖️🐎

They started the day at the beautiful Castle & Key Distillery and then headed to Keeneland for an exciting afternoon at the track. It was a great opportunity to connect, learn, and enjoy time with such an incredible community.

✨ Meet McKenna Crutcher ✨

McKenna has been with Kentuckiana Court Reporters for one year. She loves the friendships she has built along the way and enjoys the travel opportunities that come with the job. McKenna believes that strong communication is one of the most important skills for a great court reporter.

Outside of work, McKenna enjoys playing the drums, reading, and going hiking. The most rewarding part of working in the legal field for her is learning more about how the court system works. A fun fact about McKenna is that she won the “class clown” superlative twice. After a busy day, she likes to relax by spending time outside or listening to music while reading.

We are grateful to have McKenna as part of the Kentuckiana Court Reporters team!

✨ Meet Mary Mills ✨

Mary has been with Kentuckiana Court Reporters for almost a year. As someone new to Louisville, she loves that her job allows her to travel all over the city and meet new people every day. Mary believes that flexibility is an essential skill for a great court reporter, since you never know what each day may bring.

Outside of work, Mary enjoys reading classic novels and relaxing with her cat, Bella. The most rewarding part of working in the legal field for her is getting to listen to people from all walks of life, as each deposition helps broaden her perspective. A fun fact about Mary is that she has a twin sister. After a busy day, her favorite way to relax is calling her sister and catching up for as long as they need.

Mary is a wonderful part of the Kentuckiana Court Reporters team and we are so glad to have her with us!

Chloe Story and Kim Brooks had the opportunity to volunteer with Love the Hungry alongside the Kentucky Association of Legal Administrators. Volunteers of all ages worked in assembly-line teams to package fortified Nutri-Plenty meals that will be distributed to non-governmental agencies around the world, helping provide the nourishment needed for better health.

The goal for the day was 7,500 meals, and we are proud to share that 10,800 meals were packaged. It was an incredibly rewarding experience to be part of something bigger than ourselves and to help make a meaningful impact.

We are grateful to have been part of this mission and look forward to more opportunities to give back!

✨ Meet Madeline Comer ✨

Madeline has been with Kentuckiana Court Reporters for one year. She loves that no two days are ever the same and enjoys traveling to different places, meeting new people, and gaining new perspectives along the way. Madeline believes that being able to adapt to new situations and respond calmly and quickly in unfamiliar environments is an important skill for a great court reporter.

Outside of work, Madeline writes articles for local magazines and enjoys reading and watching new movies. During the summertime, she especially loves exploring the outdoors and going on hikes. The most rewarding part of working in the legal field for her is being a part of people’s legal process while also having the opportunity to continually learn and grow. A fun fact about Madeline is that she has two cats named Pork and Flea. After a busy day, her favorite way to relax is coming home, taking a shower, and curling up on the couch with her cats while watching whatever show she’s into at the moment. Bonus points if she decides to DoorDash Chick-fil-A.

We’re so glad to have Madeline as part of the Kentuckiana Court Reporters family.

✨ Meet Meagan Northcutt ✨

Meagan has been with Kentuckiana Court Reporters for a year. She loves that every day is different and that no two days ever feel the same. Meagan believes that being able to multitask and work well under pressure are essential skills for a great court reporter.

Outside of work, Meagan enjoys beading, thrifting, and anything crafty. She also loves playing Animal Crossing, working out, and spending time with her pets. The most rewarding part of working in the legal field for her is helping everyone feel comfortable and calm in what can often be a high stress situation. A fun fact about Meagan is that she proudly considers herself a Disney adult. After a busy day, her favorite way to relax is enjoying a good meal and curling up on the couch to watch any of the Real Housewives franchises.

We are so lucky to have Meagan on our team. She is such a great part of Kentuckiana Court Reporters and we are thankful for all she brings each day!
