Stormy days in Cincinnati can certainly make for some striking photos. ☔

Our downtown Cincinnati office was the backdrop for this photo featured on Cincinnati.com Monday, and we couldn’t help but notice how beautifully our refurbished lights were glowing inside on a dark and rainy day.

We love the character they bring to our historic space, especially when they shine like this.

Most importantly, we hope everyone stayed safe through the severe weather and continues to do so through more rain coming in the next few day. For those who lost power we hope you are back up and running soon. Stay safe, Cincinnati!

Day 2 and already serving up something special!

Joe stopped by Gwynne, located inside Cincinnati’s newly opened Cincinnati's Fidelity Hotel, and caught up with Executive Chef Brad Bernstein. The food was incredible, the beautifully restored historic space is stunning, and the front-desk team looks like they stepped straight out of a magazine.

Joe has always had a passion for cooking and enjoyed reminiscing with Brad about the cooking classes he took with him years ago. Many of those recipes later became part of the foundation for the charity dinners Joe hosted in his home for more than a decade. It is amazing to see how the connections we make can continue to inspire and carry forward into other parts of our lives.

We always enjoy supporting locally owned ventures, especially those helping downtown Cincinnati continue to grow, thrive, and welcome exciting new destinations. Congratulations to the entire Fidelity Hotel and Gwynne team on an impressive opening!

Confused about Ohio’s new gun rights ruling? Joe Suhre, managing attorney for Suhre and Associates, spoke to Spectrum News 1 last week about the ruling.

The Ohio Supreme Court just ruled that some people with felony convictions can ask a court to restore their firearm rights. But it does NOT restore anyone’s rights automatically.

Joe explained further: “Restoring the firearm rights isn’t presumed. It has to be demonstrated.”

Translation: there’s a legal process, and you have to prove to a judge you’ve earned it.
