The recent Equifax breach affects 143 MILLION Americans...about 44% of the US population. Equifax is one of the 3 major credit bureaus and has access to your Social Security number, Driver's License Number, credit card information, date of birth, address, etc. Equifax has offered free Identity Theft protection but they own the company they use so how safe is that?
