SHE DIDN’T JUST INHERIT THE NAME — SHE INHERITED THE LEGACY. ⚖️✨
Meet Sarah Rose Levy, Judge Judy’s granddaughter and the third generation of her family to carry the law forward.
Born in 1997 to Adam Levy and Lori, Sarah grew up incredibly close to her famous grandmother. She has described their bond as special from the very beginning, remembering childhood weekends at the family lake house filled with cousins, laughter, and unforgettable family memories.
But Sarah’s story goes far beyond being Judge Judy’s granddaughter.
She graduated from Canterbury School in 2015, earned her degree from USC in 2019, and went on to graduate from New York Law School in 2022—joining Judge Judy and her aunt Nicole as part of a remarkable three-generation NYLS family.
Before stepping into the courtroom beside her grandmother, Sarah gained behind-the-scenes television experience, including work connected to Judge Judy, Hot Bench, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Then came her biggest opportunity: Judy Justice.
In 2021, Sarah joined the new courtroom series as Judge Judy’s law clerk and legal analyst, bringing a younger perspective to the cases and becoming a recognizable part of Judy’s next chapter. Judge Judy described her granddaughter as being wired much like herself—with a little attitude to match.
Sarah has also been connected to Her Honor Mentoring, the organization founded by Judge Judy and Nicole Sheindlin to help empower young women.
From family memories to law school, television, and the courtroom, Sarah Rose’s journey shows how one of America’s most famous legal families is passing its passion for justice to the next generation.
Three generations. One legal legacy. And Sarah Rose is only getting started. ⚖️❤️
