The USCIS filing fee for naturalization (citizenship) will increase by $520 starting October 2, 2020. That is more than 80% higher than the current application fee. If you or somebody you know qualifies for citizenship, apply before the increase will take place. Feel free to call my office for assistance!

F2A category has become "Current" for July, and is expected to remain so through September (not guaranteed). So spouses and minor children of Permanent Residents (LPRs) can get their visas without the usual long wait time (around 2 years +), no matter what their country of citizenship is. Since the F2A visa has a cap/ limitation on the number, there is a high demand for them and the waiting times are usually quite long. As of right now, visa bulletin shows current for all countries, including China, India, Mexico and the Philippines.
