AMC is pleased to announce Jesse Yanco has joined the AMC team! Mr. Yanco’s practice areas primarily focus on casualty, business & financial institutions, and labor & employment and he has a wide breadth of litigation experience. He is a cm laude graduate from Gonzaga University School of Law with a unique background of completing an externship with the Hague Convention in the Netherlands as well as working at a corporate law firm in Brazil.

Colleen Deziel

Colleen Deziel’s practice includes the defense of clients in negligence, other tort and contract based claims such as premises liability, products liability, motor vehicle and general negligence. Deziel has conducted seminars for insurance carriers concerning the latest local court procedures and practices within the Los Angeles County court system, and on the current judicial “hell hole” jurisdictions around the country, and regularly provides advice and insight to them on these issues.

Deziel also regularly defends credit unions and other financial institutions in various matters, including class actions for alleged statutory violations. Further, Deziel has also published articles on the subject matter of elder abuse and mandatory reporting of elder abuse by financial institutions. Deziel’s practice further includes the representation of management interests in various aspects of employment law including wage and hour, wrongful discharge and discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims.

Cheryl, an experienced civil litigator recognized in the “Top 100 Attorneys “ magazine (2022), recently joined AMC in its Las Vegas, Nevada office. Cheryl’s specialty is litigating bad faith claims and complex insurance coverage disputes as well as representation of insurance brokers, agents, and TPAs in professional liability actions and contractual business disputes.

On April 2, 2022 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Team AMC will participate in the Walk for Wishes with the goal of raising $2,500 to support Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles. Make-A-Wish grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
