The new blockchain trend: DAOs. Have you heard about them? Right now you can have DAO LLC in Wisconsin, which is the only state that regulated DAOs. DAOs could be a solution for immigration issues such as an individual managing a DAO without being physically present in the US and without a work visa? From the liability perspective every single member could be liable for his/her own acts? It will be very interesting to see how the topic will evolve and which legal question will arise from the use of DAOs.

INFLUENCER COULD BE SUE FOR DIRECT TRADEMARK INFRINGEMENT!
In August, 2021 in Petunia Products, Inc. v. Rodan & Fields, LLC and Molly Sims, the United States District Court for the Central District of California held that a social media influencer – a person “presumed to have the power to affect the purchase decisions of others” – could be sued for direct trademark infringement in connection with the products the influencer endorsed.

The Federal Trade Commission is blanketing industry with a clear message that, if they use endorsements to deceive consumers, the FTC will be ready to hold them responsible with every tool at its disposal.
