🎉🎉Sold. I remember when I first started in real estate in California, I expressed my plans of investing to one of my work colleagues in one of the first brokerages I signed with. I was new to California with no connections, very little money, newly licensed, and had no ideas of how to get started. The person went on to tell me how hard it was to invest here. How hard it is to raise capital, the prices are so high, the competition is fierce, and on and on and on. Ultimately the conversation ended with how this person knew so many investors that couldn’t find deals and that it is basically impossible to invest in fix and flips here and if I did find anything, the competition would knock me out of the game. Man, if I would’ve listened to this person I would’ve quit. I didn’t know how to get started or what to do first. I just prayed and kept working. It took me 2 years after that conversation to land my first deal. I almost gave up. But God! My favorite bible scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the lord with all of your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all ways acknowledge Him and he will direct your paths”. Faith and God’s favor goes way further than anything on this earth. I’m going on year 3 and counting with more to accomplish. Today, we handed the keys to a new first-time home buyer who will go on to build many memories and grow their family in this home.🏁🏁
