Advocacy has always been at the core of who I am. Whether it was writing 10-page rebuttals to my parents as a kid, protecting creatives and business owners as an attorney, or standing up for small business owners, especially Black women entrepreneurs who often face unique legal challenges.
That’s why it means so much to be recognized by Super Lawyers as a top-rated Intellectual Property attorney in Southern California, an honor reserved for the top 5% of attorneys in the region. This honor isn’t just about me. It’s about the work I do to help small business owners and creative entrepreneurs protect what they build.
Super Lawyers uses a rigorous, independent selection process that includes peer nominations and evaluations. To be recognized by my peers in the industry for the work I do? That’s something I don’t take lightly.
My focus has always been Intellectual Property, Business and Corporate Law. Helping entrepreneurs protect their brands, their ideas, and their legacies. Because business ownership, especially for Black women, isn’t just about making money. It’s about creating something that lasts.
To my clients, colleagues, and peers: Thank you for your trust and support. I’ll keep doing the work.
