We're pleased to celebrate Partner Marissa Dennis as the recipient of the 2026 Deborah J. Broyles Law Firm Leader Award from the California Minority Counsel Program (CMCP). The award honors a lawyer at a CMCP member majority-owned firm who has had sustained involvement in CMCP, has made significant achievements in promoting opportunity and inclusion at their firm, and has demonstrated a personal commitment to CMCP's mission, including mentorship and the development of early-career attorneys.

Marissa is a longtime CMCP leader who served nine years on the Board of Directors, continues to support the organization through speaking engagements and conference participation, and cemented the partnership between Allen Matkins and CMCP. She also supports students from underserved backgrounds through the UCLA Law Fellows Program and serves on the Board of the Allen Matkins Foundation, which provides scholarships and grants for aspiring legal and business professionals.
