While we would love to help you with your passport renewal, know the that many adults can renew online without need to send their passport in!

If using this service know that your existing passport will be cancelled IMMEDIATELY upon submission of the online application, and the new passort takes around 4 weeks to be mailed to you.

Therefore this option should only be considered if you are certain you have no upcoming travel for the next 6 weeks.

Wondering if you qualify for online passport renewal? Here are the key requirements:
✅The passport you are renewing is/was valid for 10 years, and you are age 25 or older.
✅ Your passport is either expiring within one year or has expired less than five years ago.
✅ You live in the United States (either state or territory).
✅ Your most recent passport is in your possession and was never reported as lost or stolen.
✅ You are comfortable paying online and uploading your own passport photo.

🚨 Important update for U.S. travelers:

As of May 2026, the U.S. State Department is actively revoking or denying passports for individuals with over $2,500 in child support debt. This initiative, targeting both new applications and current passports, requires debtors to pay their balance to the state agency to become eligible again, a process that can take 2-3 weeks to update.

Americans with significant unpaid child support. This can impact international travel, work tours, and business mobility.

If you travel internationally for work, it’s important to resolve any outstanding compliance issues before making travel plans.
