Law Fact of The Day! ⚖️ Formalities of a Will 🖊
Did you diligently list all of your assets in a writing?
Did you mention your beneficiaries?
Did you sign at the end?
You're on the right track but this is NOT a valid Will in Florida!
According to Florida Statute 732.502, formal requirements for a valid Will are as follows:
1. Must be in Writing.
2. Must be signed at the END of the document.
3. Must be witnessed and signed by 2 witnesses in your presence and the presence of each other.
