open houses do work! and sometimes, they bring the most incredible people into your life.
some of my absolute favorite clients have walked through the doors of an open house. and Trystin and Johannah are officially one of them!
the funny thing is, the second they walked in, I had this strange feeling that I already knew them. like seeing familiar faces I hadn't seen in years. we hit it off immediately!
what started as a few real estate questions turned into spending the rest of the day touring homes, exploring Cowlitz County, and introducing them to all the little things that make our community so special.
and somewhere along the way, I fell head over heels for their little boy, who has officially earned the nickname "berry boy" after we spent a good portion of the open house eating berries straight out of the backyard. I introduce them to one of our local breweries, Ashtown Brewing, and instantly knew it was their kind of atmosphere!
from there, it was group texts, GIFs, endless laughter and a whole lot of conversations. somewhere between educating them through every step of the homebuying process and getting to know their family, they became so much more than clients
THIS IS THE PART I LOVE ABOUT REAL ESTATE
it's not just opening doors and selling houses. It's building relationships, introducing people to a community you love, and watching them find where they belong and now, we get to officially welcome this sweet family into our little corner of the world!
with their love for hunting, fishing, and small town vibes, I have absolutely no doubt they're going to fit right in. and I'm pretty sure I'll have them golfing before long 😆
