Recognized as one of the premier injury litigation firms in Southern California with offices in Long Beach, South Pasadena, West Hollywood and West Covina, the MANIBOG LAW, PC story actually begins over 100 years ago, when a university student in the Philippines, Gonzalo Manibog, accepted an invitation from the U.S. Six year later, in 1917, he received his law degree from the University of Indiana
polis, becoming the first Filipino to receive a law degree in the United States. Gonzalo practiced law in Hawaii, representing neighbors, friends and local families. A trailblazer in his own right, Monty was one of the first attorneys of Filipino descent to practice law in California and later was elected as Mayor of the City of Monterey Park. Monty still actively practices law. The Manibog legacy in the law continues at MANIBOG LAW, PC led by Darren A. Manibog (Monty's son and Gonzalo's grandson), a 1996 graduate from the UC Berkeley School of Law. As a third-generation lawyer, Darren witnessed from an early age the impact that the law can have on people's lives, and developed an abiding passion to carry on his grandfather's and father's commitment to service in the law. Today, MANIBOG LAW, PC is at the forefront of injury litigation, successfully handling everything from small accident cases to complex, multi-million dollar catastrophic injury cases.
