JERRY NICHOLSON, ATTORNEY AT LAW began his legal career in 1978 as a Deputy District Attorney for Orange County. In that capacity, he
prosecuted both misdemeanor and felony cases. In addition, he was
assigned to the Narcotic Task Force with the County. His duties there
included the investigation and prosecution of major narcotic cases. As
a Deputy District Attorney, he gained a vast amount of jury trial and
courtroom experience that served as a foundation for the rest of his
career. After leaving the District Attorney's Office, he became a partner in the state-wide law firm of Hunter, Nicholson, & Mason, where his duties included supervising all criminal and litigation matters for
the firm. In 1987, Mr. Nicholson began his own private practice, focusing
exclusively on criminal defense. He built his practice based upon his
experience as a Prosecutor, a Partner in a state-wide law firm, and
the relationships he developed with the judiciary, prosecutors, and
the law enforcement community. His criminal defense practice has
expanded to encompass all forms of criminal defense. His long standing relationships and reputation allow him to
communicate effectively on his client's behalf with all sectors of the
criminal justice system such as Judges, Prosecutors, Probation
Officers, Law Enforcement Officers, Child Services Officers, State

Kathy Fazli, Attorney at Law started her career in law as a certified law clerk for the Orange County Public Defender's Office. In that capacity, she assisted attorneys, including head public defenders, in such matters as abuse and neglect dependency, drug diversion, expungments, probation violations, and juvenile delinquency. As a certified law clerk, Ms. Fazli had the privilege of appearing in court on behalf of the client. This gave Ms. Fazli the opportunity to build relationships with the judiciary, district attorney, court clerks,
investigators, law enforcement, and rehabilitation facilities. Upon leaving the Public Defender's Office, Kathy Fazli gained
employment at the Law Offices of Jerry Nicholson for the purpose of
assisting Mr. Nicholson in a triple life sentence jury trial. Fazli assisted Mr. Nicholson in all phases of trial preparation and
sat second chair during the month long jury trial that ensued. It was
during this process that Ms. Fazli learned to fight aggressively in
court and further build her relationship with prosecutors, judiciary,
court clerks, and law enforcement. Fazli continues to this day to be a major contributor to the Law
Offices of Jerry Nicholson by participating in all facets of the
criminal defense practice that Mr. Nicholson has built up in the last
36 years. As Mr. Nicholson's right-hand, she represents clients in all
felony and misdemeanor matters and is active in the community by
speaking to various groups and organizations to inform people of their
constitutional rights.
