There’s something about snow days that pull you back in time.

Took my son “home” last Sunday to go sledding on the same hill I grew up on, the one my siblings and cousins and I spent winters racing down until our fingers were numb. ❄️

It was -2 degrees with the windchill, my toes were definitely questioning my life choices, and the wind did my hair no favors, but that didn’t stop me from spending the day walking part of a 20-acre cabin property and showing vacation investment homes.

Cold weather aside, it was incredibly peaceful and beautiful out there, which is exactly why investors and second-home buyers continue to be drawn to the Hocking Hills, year after year.

Sometimes the right move means slowing life down a bit. 🏡

My buyers were looking for peace, privacy, and plenty of land, and they found it in this charming ranch on 13 acres in southern Ohio. With a pond to fish in and a large garage and workshop, it’s the perfect place for their next chapter.

We had a few unexpected turns along the way, including the passing of one of the sellers while under contract, but thanks to good planning and my amazing title team at Northwest Title, we were able to close with only a short delay.
