🏡 Most of us purchase insurance, file the paperwork away, and assume we're covered.

But what happens when life changes?

Maybe you've purchased property, started a business, created a trust, welcomed a new family member, or accumulated assets you didn't have when you first bought your policies. 🤠🌾

📋 In recognition of National Insurance Awareness Day, this week's blog shares a simple insurance review checklist to help you identify potential gaps and make sure your insurance coverage and estate plan are working together. ❤️

❤️ The greatest legacy many fathers leave behind isn't measured in dollars. It's measured in the care they show for their families, the values they pass on, and the plans they put in place to help protect the people they love.

We're honored every time a family trusts us with something so important. One of the things we love most about what we do is building relationships with clients who quickly start to feel more like neighbors and friends.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your family's story.

🤠 In the Hill Country, most folks are pretty good at keeping up with truck maintenance, ranch records, and the honey-do list.

Estate plans? Not always.

This Father's Day, take a few minutes to think about whether your family would know what to do if the unexpected happened. A little planning today can make a big difference tomorrow.

In Texas, we understand the importance of planning ahead. We plan for changing weather, busy seasons, retirement, and taking care of the people who depend on us.

The challenge is that life doesn't stand still. Children grow up, families change, financial situations evolve, and plans that made sense years ago may not reflect where you are today.

This Father's Day, take a few minutes to think about whether your planning still matches your wishes. A simple review today can help provide clarity and peace of mind for the people you love most tomorrow. ❤️🤠

🤠 Around the Texas Hill Country, dads are known for a lot of things: showing up when they're needed, teaching life lessons, fixing what breaks, and doing whatever it takes to take care of their families.

🔥 This Father's Day, we're talking about another way dads provide for the people they love. Not with a new truck, a bigger paycheck, or a perfectly cooked brisket, but by making sure their family has a plan if the unexpected ever happens.

❤️ In this week's blog, we explore why estate planning for parents is about more than legal documents. It's about giving your family guidance, protection, and peace of mind when they need it most.

These can be confusing but the answer is …. Not exactly.

Succession planning focuses on what happens when you permanently leave a business.

Business continuity planning focuses on what happens if you're temporarily unable to run it.

Different goals.
Different questions.
Both are important.

This week’s blog in the comments explains why continuity planning is so important.

Most business owners assume someone could "figure it out" if they were unexpectedly unavailable.

Maybe. But would they know where to start?

If you couldn't run your business for 30 days, how many boxes could you honestly check?

The businesses that weather emergencies best aren't necessarily the biggest or most profitable. They're the ones that have a plan.

How many did you score? 👇 Have a look at this week’s blog (linked in comments) for more tips.

☀️ Quick question before you leave for vacation...

You've planned the route. Booked the hotel. Packed the cooler. Set your out-of-office message.

But have you ever thought about what would happen to your business if you couldn't come back as planned?

Most business owners haven't - and that's completely understandable. It's not exactly vacation conversation.

Still, having a plan in place for the unexpected can make a big difference for your employees, customers, family, and the business you've worked so hard to build.

That's what we're talking about in this week's blog.
