What Is Form I-131F?
Form I-131F (officially called “Application for Parole in Place for Certain Noncitizen Spouses and Stepchildren of U.S. Citizens”) is a new electronic form introduced by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) as part of the “Keeping Families Together” Parole in Place (PIP) expansion.
Key Points about Form I-131F:
• Starting August 19, 2024, Form I-131F will be available for online filing through the USCIS website
• There is no paper version of this form
• A separate form must be filed for each person seeking parole in place
• The filing fee for Form I-131F is $580, there is no fee waiver for this form
• USCIS has published a Filing Guide for Form I-131F to assist individuals with the online process
• You cannot file Form I-765 and Form I-131F at the same time

¿Qué es el Formulario I-131F?
El Formulario I-131F (oficialmente llamado “Solicitud de libertad condicional vigente para ciertos cónyuges no ciudadanos e hijastros de ciudadanos estadounidenses”) es un nuevo formulario electrónico presentado por el Servicio de Ciudadanía e Inmigración de los Estados Unidos (USCIS, por sus siglas en inglés) como parte de la expansión de la libertad condicional vigente (PIP, por sus siglas en inglés) “Mantener unidas a las familias”.
Puntos clave sobre el Formulario I-131F:
• A partir del 19 de agosto de 2024, el Formulario I-131F estará disponible para su presentación en línea a través del sitio web de USCIS
• No existe una versión en papel de este formulario

Federal judge reinstates DACA, orders U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security to start accepting first-time applicants beginning next week.

The order comes after U.S. District Judge Garaufis ruled that acting DHS Sec. Wolf had not been acting lawfully as the chief of Homeland Security and that, as such, his suspension of protections for a class of migrants brought to the U.S. illegally as children is invalid.
